I am a very determined and focused young person with challenging educational and career goals to be successful in the fashion industry. I am currently looking for work while pursuing my studies. I am creative, self-driven and experimental with my work ethic. I have a passion for expanding and developing my skills and knowledge to further my learning. I am confident, enthusiastic and hard working with proven track record of key skills.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

HAIRDRESSER HELPER | HEWLINS HAIR ANDOVER | 2015 WORKED FOR 6 MONTHS

I worked on weekends and holidays in the hairdressers. Some jobs I did was sweeping the floor, making drinks for customers, cleaning up dishes, cleaning the bathroom and salon and washing customers hair. Some of the customers would allow me to blow dry their hair and help with dyeing their hair too. I enjoyed working at the hairdressers however I left to focus on my studies and upcoming exams. Working directly with the public gave me better communication skills and more confidence.

WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEE | ORVIS ANDOVER | OCTOBER 2016-DECEMBER 2018

I worked on any day I wasn’t in college and holidays. The jobs I did was picking and packing items for shops or to individual customers from online orders. I also helped with organizing products for events such as the town hall sale in Stockbridge. Working in the warehouse improved my teamwork skills and made me more organized.

SANTAS HELPER | DOBBIES GARDEN CENTRE ANDOVER | NOVEMBER-DECEMBER 2019 + DECEMBER 2020

I worked during the seasonal period as a Christmas elf to help with the grotto, the morning breakfast and evening Christmas parties. In the mornings and evenings it would involve entertaining the children, serving food and drinks and organizing for the grotto during the day. In the day I would welcome children and their families into the grotto, entertain them and introduce them to Santa. During the pandemic in 2020 the grotto was cut short and so we cleared the grotto and did some shop floor work to make up the hours, including stacking shelves and pricing. Working with the public and having to talk to people of all ages definitely made me more confident and comfortable especially with complicated situations.

FRONT OF HOUSE, RESTURANT | DOBBIES GARDEN CENRTE ANDOVER | 2019 – 2021

Worked part time during holidays between education. The job involved, taking orders, making drinks, serving sweet treats, using a coffee machine, cleaning tables, re-stocking shelves, completing opening and closing down routine, training new employees, pot washing. Working with the public and working as a team helped improve my confidence and teamwork skills.
